I’m Bertha Burruezo
High school dropout turned employment lawyer, who manages a successful practice. General Counsel turned CEO, who transformed a failing startup. Proud daughter of Central American immigrants who taught me that our roots don't limit us, but, that they power us!
Why My Background Matters To You
My journey hasn't followed the traditional path. After earning my G.E.D., I worked my way through community college, transferred to a four-year university to complete my Bachelor's degree, then earned my Master's degree. I spent two fulfilling years teaching eighth-grade students in Deltona, Florida, one of my career highlights, before pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a lawyer and graduating at the top of my class from Stetson University College of Law in 2002.
As the only Spanish-speaking employment attorney in my market, I built a thriving practice serving the Hispanic business community before stepping into the CEO role of a struggling startup. There, I learned firsthand what it takes to transform organizational culture and lead through crisis—turning a company hemorrhaging six figures monthly into one generating six-figures each month.

The Deeper Work Behind My Approach
Transformation is not only operational. It is human.
Here is what truly changed everything: my deep work with ancestral healing modalities rooted in my Mayan/Lenca/Iberian indigenous heritage, combined with my commitment to doing my own inner-healing work, helped me develop the tools to assist others navigate transformation in ways that honor both their professional ambitions and their authentic selves. This practice of extreme vulnerability, in my own healing and in my speaking, creates the kind of raw connection that few are willing to share, but one that audiences crave.
